Vikarabad: The district core committee meeting on Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) and Strategic Research and Extension Plan (SREP) was held at the collectorate here on Wednesday.
The five-year SREP is to include information about the present conditions in the district, agriculture policy and issues and prospect. As many as eight villages were selected and eight teams with agriculture officers and scientists were appointed to prepare this plan.
The activities of ATMA in the district were also discussed in the meeting. ATMA PD, officers of animal husbandry, fisheries, marketing, horticulture and others were present.
