Revocation of Article 370 will not be solution: Kodandaram
TJS President Kodandaram has stated that repealing of Article 370 will not be a lasting solution to the Kashmir problem.
Hyderabad: TJS President Kodandaram has stated that repealing of Article 370 will not be a lasting solution to the Kashmir problem.
He said the Centre should ensure that no other problem crop up while addressing the contentious issue. Addressing the media on Monday, Kodandaram felt that just by revoking Article 370 would not address the problem, he said.
The Centre did not explain as to why Kashmir issue became a big problem, the problem would continue as it was there yesterday and today, he felt.
Kodandaram also said the Centre has to take steps to find a permanent solution to the issue.
"We need to learn lessons from Telangana formation as bifurcation issues still exist. The Centre must find an amicable solution to this problem, he felt.
