Hyderabad: The RTC JAC has asked TSRTC workers to reach depots on Wednesday and give joining letters to the depot managers.

In a press release issued here, the JAC leaders have condemned the arrests of the workers who came to resume their duties.

The leaders said that the strike was not illegal, and this was also confirmed by the High Court. Convener E Ashwadhama Reddy said that if the government forms a regulatory authority and handover the corporation to the workers, the organisation will not depend on the government for its functioning.

If the government does not solve the issue, the unrest in the organisation would further increase hence the government should take the employees back into duties.

Meanwhile, the workers adopted a unique way to report to duties after calling off the strike. The workers sent letters of willingness to join duties through WhatsApp.

The RTC JAC leaders gave a call to the workers to send their letters to the officials through their mobile phones and on WhatsApp. Many of the TSRTC workers reportedly have sent their letters about resuming duties on WhatsApp to the RTC MD Sunil Sharma and other Executive Directors on Tuesday.

The workers had earlier decided to give letters to depot managers but with management not allowing the workers to join, they sent their letters through WhatsApp.

The JAC leaders claimed that the MD and EDs have seen their letter on WhatsApp and with this legally they have intimated the officials about their joining.
