Sakhi centres to solve women's issues
District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini said that the government was providing many facilities and implementing welfare schemes for the benefit of women in the State.
Kothagudem: District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini said that the government was providing many facilities and implementing welfare schemes for the benefit of women in the State.
On Thursday, he participated in the Sakhi programme at Babu camp in Kothagudem. During the time, he interacted with women and enquired about the they are facing.
Informing that the government has allotted Sakhi centres to every district in the State, the Collector said that women were facing a lot of issues in the society and they can get solutions for their problems at the Sakhi centres.
District Women Welfare Officer Saradha, Child Development Department Project Officer Lenina, Jargruthi organisation representative Kumudhi, Sakhi centre administrator Indira and others attended the programme.
