Secunderabad: Strewn garbage rankles locals

Secunderabad: Recklessly strewn garbage has become a major of problem for the residents of Chiranjeervi apartment, West Marredpally, for the past one week. The trash thrown on the road, with unbearable stench is making it difficult for the commuters to move on.

Many locals have complained about the garbage and the foul smell. "We have informed the concerned authorities about the unattended garbage near our apartment and this is a big health hazard and also adversely affecting the environment," said P Praveen, a local. Despite several representations, no action has been taken yet. The pigs and dog menace had increased because of the domestic waste, making locals more panicky.
