Sewage overflow at Kandanelli Thanda
The sewerage water has been flowing on the road on Kandanelli Thanda, but no officials seemed to bother, lamented the residents. The stinking water and filthy environment were posing threat of causing illnesses to the residents, they said.

There was a big pothole at the entrance of the village which was filled with dirty water. Anyone going to Peddemul from Tanur has to cross the road where the sewerage water was overflowing. Many officers were travelling on this road daily, but they don't show any concern, the residents of the Thanda alleged.
They also said that drinking water from Mission Bhagiratha was being supplied once in a week, hence residents have to visit bore-well located at the outskirts. They appeal the authorities to address the issues immediately.
