The Telangana High Court on Thursday asked the police to handover Sindhu Sharma's elder daughter to her after hearing a petition filed by the latter.

On Wednesday, Sindhu filed a Habeas Corpus petition appealing the court to hand over her elder daughter. However, the court stated that the child can stay five days with her mother and two days in a week with her mother.

"Sindhu could take her child on Friday and hand over her to her father on Monday," the court said.

Sindhu along with her husband Vasista Rao appeared before court o Thursday. After hearing their arguments, the court directed the police to hand over the baby to her mother.
