Vikarabad: The district police organised a meeting with women police officers at the DPO, here on Tuesday. The meeting, on account of World Women's Day, was held in order to find any issues they face at work. Speaking on the occasion, district SP M Narayana congratulated all the female police officers.
He asked all the female police officers to bring to his attention if they were facing any problem whether professional or personal. "Women who come to the police station should be motivated and educated on ills of child marriages and create awareness on education and women empowerment," he added.
The district SP assured women of providing separate bathrooms and restrooms at the work-place. District Additional SP MA Rashid, Tharur and Vikarabad Women SIs Sneha Varsha, Sushmita and district's female police officers were among those present.
