Kothagudem: Superintendent of Police Sunil Dutt on Friday distributed a cheque to the family of a home guard who died recently due to ill health. The SP handed over the cheque for Rs 4.5 lakh to the family members in his chamber. On the occasion, the SP appreciated the Home Guards Association for donating their one-day salary to the kin of the deceased.
The SP later interacted with the deceased home guard's family members and enquired about their financial status. Home guards RI Damodhar, Home Guards Association president Satyanarayana and other officers attended the programme.
