On account of Tholi Ekadasi day on Friday, a large number of devotees thronged the Lord Rama temple in Bhadrachalam and offered prayers. Since morning, a heavy rush was witnessed in queue lines.
Bhadrachalam: On account of Tholi Ekadasi day on Friday, a large number of devotees thronged the Lord Rama temple in Bhadrachalam and offered prayers. Since morning, a heavy rush was witnessed in queue lines. Meanwhile, on the day, the priests performed a special abhishekam and the pujas to the deities in the sanctum sanctorum. The priests also performed the celestial wedding which was witnessed by a large number of couples.
On the day, a devotee, R Sai Sandeep, from East Godavari of neighbouring Andhra Pradesh donated Rs 1 lakh towards the temple's Annadanam (mass feeding programme). He handed over the cheque to temple superintendent K Srinivas.
