SSC student jumps off building at exam centre in Hyderabad

An SSC student jumped from a building at the exam centre here at Lingampally on Friday. The boy is learned to have depressed over exams and took the extreme step.

However, he escaped with injuries and was shifted to a local hospital for treatment. The police inspected the spot and registered a case.

In a similar case, a girl who was pursuing inter second year committed suicide leaving a three-page suicide note. The girl was brought up by her grandmother after the death of her parents and was in a relationship with a youngster in her locality.

She slipped into depression after her boyfriend stopped talking to her asking to concentrate on upcoming exams. An investigation is on.
