State set to come alive with Bathukammu festivities
Telangana Jagruti would organise Bathukamma celebrations in Telangana and other countries like USA, Australia, UK, Europe, Qatar, Oman, United Arab Emirates and many other Middle East countries.

The celebrations would start from September 28 and conclude with Saddula Bathukamma on October 6. Former MP and Jagrutipresident Kalvakuntla Kavitha released the Bathukamma Sambaralu- 2019 poster here on Tuesday.
Congratulating the womenfolk on the Bathukamma, Kavitha said that the celebrations would be taken up in all districts, mandals villages and also in other countries.
"Bathukamma has been promoting values and has added spiritual significance to the daily lives of people. Our organisation has spread across the globe in a very short period of time.
Like every year, we will celebrate the Bathukamma festival in Mumbai, and also in countries like USA, Australia, UK, Europe, Qatar, Oman, United Arab Emirates and in many other Middle East countries," said Kavitha.
Meanwhile, Tourism Minister V Srinivas Goud said there would be celebration of Bathukamma with 10,000 women at Bhadrakali temple on September 28 and on the concluding day on October 6, there will be celebrations in all the places in the State.
Apart from this, there would be arrangements in New Delhi also for celebrations. On the final day, a rally would be taken out from LB Stadium to Tank Bund.
Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav said that the government was celebrating all festivals to showcase the culture of the state.
He said that the government was taking all steps for grand celebrations of Bathukamma.
