Student leaders of various organisations protested at Arts College, Osmania University and alleged that the students staying in hostels are being targeted by TRS party.
Hyderabad: Student leaders of various organisations protested at Arts College, Osmania University and alleged that the students staying in hostels are being targeted by TRS party. They further went on to allege that, some outsiders have entered the hostel premises and physically abused the students belonging to ABVP.
The police reached the spot and tried to pacify the protesting students, meanwhile, the protesters tore off a Flexi of CM KCR and tried to burn it, but were stopped by the police.
In order to bring the situation under control, the police have called in for more troops and pick up vehicles have also arrived on the scene to detain the protesters. The overall situation is brought under control now as the police are seen to be negotiating with the protesters.
