Hyderabad: The ruling TRS which has been in news lately for controversies surrounding the party has been put in another fix.

Discussions within the party that some of the leaders were trying to grab attention of the party leadership so that they get opportunities in future in the form of nominated posts have been allegedly creating rifts.

Senior TRS leaders including the MLAs have shown dissent over being ignored especially after the cabinet expansion. The claim of the leaders over the ownership of TRS has also made the party take up corrective measures during the last few days.

Several leaders who gave statements irking the TRS leadership were made to fall in line by the high command to give clarification.

The leaders including Eatala Rajender, Naini Narasimha Reddy, T Rajaiah and Md Shakeel first talked against party line but later said they will be with TRS.

However, the party leaders have different opinions on the timing of the leaders to raise their voice.

A senior leader of the party said that some of the leaders may have raised their voice to grab the attention of the party chief after their names were ignored in the expansion.

Many leaders who have joined from other parties got posts and some of them are waiting and to get noticed the leaders may have raised their voice, said the TRS leader.

Party sources said that the TRS chief may give nominated posts after Assembly session.

The Chief Minister finished off the cabinet expansion and now he may be filling up the long-awaited nominated posts. Presently there are very few leaders who are enjoying the nominated posts and the term of some leaders would be ending by October.

However, another leader of the party said there was no other option for the leaders as they had no or very little access to the Chief Minister's Office.

The party functionaries like general secretaries and secretaries have got access cards whereas the others do not have such facility, said the TRS leader.
