TBGKS founder president may join BJP
It seems all is not well in the Telangana Boggu Gani Karmika Sangham (TBGKS) which is affiliated to Singareni Workers Union of the ruling TRS.
Hyderabad: It seems all is not well in the Telangana Boggu Gani Karmika Sangham (TBGKS) which is affiliated to Singareni Workers Union of the ruling TRS.
The founder president of the Sangham K Mallaiah is likely to join BJP soon. His shifting loyalties to BJP has assumed political significance as the election of the TBGKS is scheduled to be held shortly.
Mallaiah has already held several rounds of talks with the existing elected body and secured their support to join the BJP.
He also met Telangana BJP President K Laxman during the latter's visit to the coal mines recently.
Laxman assured him of his support to resolve long-pending issues in consultation with the Centre.
It may be mentioned here that Telangana Jagruthi President K Kavitha was the honorary President of the Sangham till recently. She quit the post after the Assembly elections.
