Telangana couple killed in Kuwait road accident

A couple hailing from Gadwal in Telangana killed in a road accident in Kuwait on Saturday after the car they were travelling in rammed into a light post.
The accident took place at Arthaviya near Zulfi, 270 km away from Riyadh when the couple returning to their home in Hafar AL-Batin near Kuwait from Mecca.
Swapna Latha (40) and her husband Feroz Ahmed died on the spot while their four-year-old boy escaped unhurt. Swapna, a native of Gadwal was working as a doctor in the MInistry's hospital in Hafar Al-Batin.
Efforts were on to hand over the four-year-old to the victim's family in Telangana. The toddler was currently under the protection of a Hyderabadi doctor.
