In the view of coronavirus pandemic, the health authorities on Wednesday appealed to all the people who took part in the GHMC election campaign to isolate themselves for the next one week.

In the view of coronavirus pandemic, the health authorities on Wednesday appealed to all the people who took part in the GHMC election campaign to isolate themselves for the next one week.

The advisory has been issued to all the political party leaders, party workers and other people who involved in the election campaign. Individuals who also participated in the election campaign can also get the tests done and move into quarantine. The symptoms, if any can appear from five to ten days during the period of isolation.

Also, all who involved in campaigning were also advised not to interact with their family members during the period of isolation and make sure of masks, sanitizers and social distancing.

Meanwhile, the state has recorded 565 fresh coronavirus positive cases until Tuesday taking the total number of infections to 2,70,883 while the death toll to 1,462 with one fatality. A total of 925 persons recovered on Tuesday taking the cumulative Covid-19 recoveries in the State to 2,60,155.
