Demanding its merge with government, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has called for a state-wide bandh on October 19.
Demanding its merge with government, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has called for a state-wide bandh on October 19.
The TSRTC JAC announced a series of protests, starting with Vanta-Varpu on Sunday. It will then carry out sit-in protest before all the depots on October 14, Rasta Roko on October 15. On October 16, students will take out a rally in support to TSRTC JAC and a bike rally on October 18.
After a meeting with All-party leaders led by TJS chief Kondadaram, TSRTC JAC co-convenor Thomas Reddy announced the schedule of the protests. CPM state secretary Tammineni Veerbhadram, Congress leader V Hanumantha Rao, TDP politburo member Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy and RTC JAC leaders were present in the meeting.
