Mulugu: Principal Accountant General (Audit) Rebecca Mathai, Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS), has on Sunday visited Laknavaram Lake, Bogatha waterfalls, cottages, environmental studies centre etc in Tadvai and Sammakka Saralamma temple in Medaram.
Mulugu District Ecotourism Coordinator Kalyanapu Suman explained about the measures being taken for the protection of wildlife and the tourism promotional activities of the Forest Department.
Referring to her visit, Rebecca Mathai said that it was an experience of lifetime. She heaped praise on Forest Department for its tourism activities thereby providing livelihood opportunities to the locals.
