Training imparted to officials on rice procurement in Narayanpet
With the harvest season for Rabi season on the way and the district authorities expecting a good harvest and large quantities of rice into the market yards, the Narayanpet District Collector, S Venkat Rao, had organised a meeting-cum-training programme for the officials of various departments like agriculture, marketing, DRDA and MEMPA.

Addressing the officials of various departments, the Collector said that it was important for the agriculture, marketing, MEPMA, DCO, and Municipal Commissioner and DRDA officials to coordinate with each other and ensure that the paddy procurement was done properly without creating any problems for the farmers.
"We are expecting a good harvest this time and in view of flooding of paddy by the farmers into the markets, we have given all necessary tips and instructions for the officials to ensure all farmers get Minimum Support Price for their produce," informed the Collector.
The meeting-cum-training programme was organised at RDO office in Narayanpet on Monday.
