The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) announced the results of the Common Postgraduate Entrance Test -2019 (CPGET-2019) results for admission into various postgraduate courses in seven State Universities.

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) announced the results of the Common Postgraduate Entrance Test -2019 (CPGET-2019) results for admission into various postgraduate courses in seven State Universities.

Announcing the results here on Friday, TSCHE Chairman Prof T Papi Reddy said a total of 30,884 seats will be filled in the campus, constituent and postgraduate centers in the universities as well as in all affiliated colleges, including the government colleges in the State.

He said there are 9,017 seats in the campus, constituent and postgraduate centres under Osmania, Kakaitaya, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Satvahana and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTU-H).

The remaining 21,867 seats are in the affiliated and government colleges functioning under the above seven universities.

He said all the 30,884 seats will be filled under the convener quota and there are 4,036 management quota seats available over and above the convener quota in the private colleges which will be filled under the management category seats.

Registration for certificate verification of the CPGET-2019 will begin from August 13 onwards and the subject wise verification of certificates will be held from August 16 to 24.

Students can exercise their web options from August 18 to 26 and they can edit the same till August 27.

The first phase of allotment of seats will be done on August 29 and students should report and confirm their seats up to September 3, this year.

The subject wise, rank wise and day wise schedules will be made available on the website, he added.

For the purpose of verification of certificates, Prof Papi Reddy said steps have been taken for decentralised verification of certificates.

Accordingly, in the case of Osmania and Kakatiya universities, the verification centres will be at Directorates of Admissions in OU and KU campuses.

Similarly, verification centers are established at Telangana University Campus, Dichpally, Nizamabad, Mahatama Gandhi University campus, Yellareddyguda, Nalgonda, Palamuru University campus, Bandameedipally, Mahbubnagar and Satavahana University campus, Karimnagar, he said.
