Karimnagar: The representatives of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh which is an affiliation to TSRTC workers' union staged a dharna in front of the RTC zonal manager office demanding solution to their issues, here, in Karimnagar district on Saturday.

They alleged that the RTC management is delaying in sanctioning a pending amount to the RTC workers. It is the responsibility of the RTC management to pay full salary to its employees if they derive profits even though the RTC employees did not attend the duties.

They did not pay the salaries for one and half month of strike period which was held in 2019 and also, the RTC management is not paying even 50 per cent amount to the workers even though the bond period is completed, the Sangh members alleged. The management has not even distributed uniforms to the workers for the past four years, they pointed.

By clearing the CCS and PF amount of workers, the management must pay the amount to the RTC workers and distribute new uniforms along with paying the pending amount immediately, they demanded.

They even demanded them to issue orders for reforming of salaries for RTC workers from April 2017. By suspending the recruitment process in the RTC through out-sourcing method, the management must fill all the vacant posts through Karunya posts immediately, they added. The BMS Karimnagar Zone president M Sudheer Kumar, district president N Anil Rao, secretary Bhargav, Jagtial district secretary Amalapuram Sathyam, Karimnagar town president Upender Reddy, general secretary T Srinivas, vice-president Shiva Kumar and joint secretary Hari Kumar were present along with others.
