Two persons arrested for attack on Gandhi doctors
The Chilkalguda police on Wednesday arrested two persons for allegedly assaulting a junior doctor at Gandhi hospital on Tuesday night.
Hyderabad: The Chilkalguda police on Wednesday arrested two persons for allegedly assaulting a junior doctor at Gandhi hospital on Tuesday night. Both the persons attacked the doctor as their father aged around 55 years died at the hospital while undergoing treatment for Coronavirus.
According to police, the two persons who attacked the junior doctor were agitated over the fact that their father passed away at the hospital. However, they have been arrested and were booked under sections U/s 332, 188, 269, 270, 271 IPC and Sec 3 of Epidemic Disease act 1897 Sec 4 of Telangana Medicare service person and Medicare service institution act 2008.
Meanwhile the commissioner of police, Anjani Kumar, also mentioned that, such kind of behavior against doctors will not be tolerated and the persons who have attacked will be dealt in a stern manner.
He further urged the citizens to not get into any kind of trouble by attacking the doctors because they have been working day and night for saving the lives of citizens in such difficult times.
