Kamareddy: Police have arrested two robbers in Kamareddy town on Friday and seized 11 firearms, a monitor and CCTV cameras from them, Superintendent of Police Shweta Reddy informed at a press meet here.

She said the police found the duo in suspicious manner in the town during regular checking and the two robbers – Bhukya Dhari and Bhukya Ganesh – have confessed to committing about 18 thefts in Nizamabad, Kamareddy and Rajanna Sircilla districts after interrogation.

The accused were sent to remand. Sub-Inspector Raju, constables Krishna Ranjith, Bhoomaiah, K Balaiah and Naresh were present during the checking. DSP Lakshminarayana and CI Chandrashekar Reddy were present during the press meet.
