The west zone police on Saturday night seized unaccounted cash of Rs 1 crore during a vehicle check at Banjara Hills and arrested two people.
The arrested who failed to produce the valid documents related to the cash were arrested by the police. The cash which is learned to be a part of a business transaction is suspected to belong to a private firm.
On Thursday night, the Banjara Hills police seized Rs 3 crore of hawala money from a jeweller's house. The jeweller identified as Anil is learned to have been distributing the hawala money.
