Villagers no to lands for Kaleshwaram

About 150 villagers of Muppireddipally protested on Friday, stating that they would not forgo their lands for Kaleshwaram project, when the officials concerned visited the villlage to gather public opinion. The officials tried to pacify the villagers.

The villagers threatned to commit suicide, if they were forcibly evicted. Officials had no other choice but to retreat. Manoharabad MRO Muzeeb Ahmed, Project AAE OM Prakash, Surveyor Shashikanth and other officials were present.
