VRO commits suicide due to financial strain in Suryapet

A Village Revenue Officer (VRO) committed suicide on Wednesday due to financial strain here at Nereducherla village of Suryapet district.
Sattar (54), who was rendering services at China Nemila of Maddirala Mandal took the extreme step by consuming poison. A case has been registered by the police.
In a similar case, Panga Krishnaiah, a Village Revenue Officer of Parada in Kattangur Mandal committed suicide by consuming pesticide in his agricultural land at Nemmani village of Naketpally Mandal.
He was said to have pressurised due to the ruling party leaders who sought favour from him in connection with already sold lands.
