Two youngsters accidentally slipping into the Jampanna Vagu on Monday here at Medaram in Mulugu district. Efforts are on by the swimmers to trace the victims.
Prashanth (23) and Puppi Reddy Raghu (16) fell into the lake. An investigation is launched by the police.
On November 12, three youngsters who went for a swim drowned in a lake at Varikolu village of Koheda in Siddipet district. The deceased were identified as K Nikhil, K Prashanth, and P Varaprasad. The deceased were aged between 10 and 15 years.
The bodies were fished out by the police with the help of swimmers. All three are from the same village.
