Kamareddy: District Superintendent of Police Swetha Reddy urged the villagers to establish CCRV cameras in their area for crime prevention.

Along with DSP S Damodar Reddy, division-level CIs and SIs and police teams she participated in cordon and search operation in Dhoti village of Madnoor mandal on Thursday.

Addressing the villagers, the SP said that cordon and search operation is being held for public safety and people should not afraid if the police come for cordon search. The villagers were asked to inform the police if they found suspectable persons. Everyone should come forward voluntarily and set up CCTV cameras and the cameras should be fixed in such a way that the face would be visible from a distance.

In recent times, several riders of two-wheelers and four-wheelers had lost their lives due to drunk driving. Every motorist must wear a helmet and seatbelt to avoid road accidents by complying with road safety standards. During cordon search, 67 two-wheelers were seized, which have no documents in the village.

Bichkunda CI Sajid Ullah, Banswada CIs, division-level Sis and 90 police personnel had participated in the search operation.
