Nizamabad: District Collector C Narayana Reddy has directed the officials concerned to take necessary steps to provide quality services at wellness centre at district headquarters.

On Friday, he held a meeting with the officer from Hyderabad and other officials of wellness centre from Nizamabad Government General Hospital. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that the centre wil provide services to the pensioners, employees and journalists. He told the staff of the wellness centre to do the tests effectively, especially through the Lab App.

Directing to appoint another doctor, he said that there should not be shortage of medicines to give to the patients. Stating that steps will be taken to recruit two lab technicians, Narayana Reddy said that blood tests should be sent to a government hospital every day to ensure that the tests are done properly.

Similarly, steps should be taken to establish physiotherapist. Doctors must take steps to satisfy patients by providing best services. The Collector assured of paying electricity bills from the Collectorate.

The meeting was attended by District Revenue Officer Anjaiah, Government Hospital Supervisor Nageswara Rao, Joint Executive Officer of Wellness Centre Vijay Mandapaka, Medical College Principal Indira, Arogya Sree District Officer Dr Vineet, Dr Ramu, Dr Rajesh and others.
