Will Chevalla fall in Congress kitty again?
According to exit polls, Congress has chances to win two to three seats in Telangana. Chevalla and Malkajgiri constituencies are expected to figure among them. High fever gripped these constituencies since the elections that happened one-and-a-half-months ago.

We have to wait for results on Thursday to witness who's going to win. The jury is still out on the outcome. Chevalla Congress candidate Konda Vishweshwara Reddy and TRS candidate Ranjith Reddy are equally confident of their victory. In 2014, Konda Vishweshwara Reddy won from TRS in Chevalla. He left TRS a few months prior to elections and joined Congress. TRS gave ticket to Ranjith Reddy who is optimistic of people blessing him with a win.
Assembly segments of Maheshwaram, Rajender Nagar, Serilingampally, Chevalla, Vikarabad, Parigi and Tandur come under Chevalla Lok Sabha constituency. In the recently held assembly elections, TRS bagged all Assembly seats except Maheshwaram and Tandur. Later, former minister Sabitha Indira Reddy who won from Maheshwarm along with her followers joined TRS. This has changed the strategic strength of parties after assembly elections. Vishweshwara Reddy became the backbone of Congress and led his followers to campaign for Congress. A total of 53.08 votes were polled.
