Yadagirigutta: MRPS chief drums up support for Chalo Tank Bund march
Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) founder president Manda Krishna Madiga urged the people of all sections of the society to take part in the Chalo Tank Bund peace protest march, to be taken out on Saturday, of the striking RTC employees and make it a grand success.
Yadagirigutta: Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) founder president Manda Krishna Madiga urged the people of all sections of the society to take part in the Chalo Tank Bund peace protest march, to be taken out on Saturday, of the striking RTC employees and make it a grand success.
On Friday, he met the RTC employees in Yadagirigutta and expressed his solidarity with them. Addressing the media later, Manda Krishna Madiga alleged that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had hatched a plan to grab the RTC assets.
However, the court has expressed its angst against the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for submitting wrong reports with regard to payments to RTC employees, he said.
All sections of the people of the society and High Court are united with regard to RTC strike. Despite all this, the Chief Minister is continuing with his adamant attitude and taking unilateral decisions, he said.
"KCR's political life will end if he fails to hold discussions with the RTC unions as per the court directions," Krishna Madiga added.
Meanwhile, on Friday evening, police in erstwhile Nalgonda district took RTC workers and leaders of opposition parties and civic society organisations into custody as a part of preventive arrests in view of Chalo Tank Bund march.
