Youngster slits girls throat in Hyderabad and tries to commit suicide

Hyderabad: Police sources said a love failure was suspected to be the reason for the alleged suicide bid. A young man slit a girl's throat and subsequently attempted suicide here on Tuesday afternoon in a lodge in Chaitanyapuri. Both survived and are now being treated in the hospital now. The two thought to be lovers of Andhra Pradesh Venkatesh (22) and Badangpet's Manasvini (22), had checked into the lodge in the morning, according to police.

Police sources said a love failure was suspected of being the reason for the supposed suicide bid. The employees at the lodge discovered the wounded couple and immediately moved them to the hospital where they were treated. The investigation is still on.
