Sacred Games Season 2: Twitter goes crazy with memes

In the year 2018, when the Netflix web series Sacred Games dropped, it took the Internet by storm. Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Saif Ali Khan in the lead, have earned praise and critique in equal parts.
However, a lot of social media users seem to be agreeing that the second season is comparatively not up to the mark of season 1.
Season 2 of Sacred Games begins right where season 1 had ended. Viewers get to know more about Guru ji's plan, which was only hinted at in the first season. For the second season of the hugely popular show, actors Kalki Koechlin, Ranvir Shorey and Amruta Subhash joined the ensemble cast.

Sacred Games 2 was co-directed by Anurag Kashyap and Neeraj Ghaywan, based on a book published in the year 2006 by Vikram Chandra. The show reveals the perspective of the world of organised crime through the eyes of Sartaj Singh (played by Saif Ali Khan) and Ganesh Gaitonde (Nawazuddin Siddiqui).
