Officials seize Kodela's showrooms in Guntur district

Guntur: The officials have seized the bike showrooms at Narasaraopeta and Sattenapalle which belongs to the former Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao on Saturday.
It's said the showrooms are selling the two-wheelers for the past five years without paying the tax to the sales. In this context, the officials have made the sudden raids and closed down the showrooms which are operated by Kodela Siva Prasada's son Sivaram.
On the other side, Kodela Siva Prasada Rao and his family members are already facing police cases over collecting K tax in the constituency. Recently, TDP cadre also staged a protest demanding the removal of Kodela as in-charge of Sattenapalli.
