Kadapa: A panic situation prevails in Kadapa district with the registration 17 of coronavirus positive cases on Thursday, taking total number of cases up to 158.
It may be recalled that as many as 15 cases were reported on Wednesday. Apart from 10 cases from Nawabpet village of Mylavaram mandal, the disease is spreading to villages now.
The administration lifted Covid restrictions and allowed all business establishments, including footwear show rooms, gold show rooms across the district by declaring all most all mandal as green zones.
But the officials express concern following sudden surge in coronavirus cases for the last two days.
Meanwhile district Superintendent of police KNN Anburajan visited the Nawabpet village on Thursday and instructed his men to implement strict rules in the containment areas.
