5 Students injured as school bus crashed in Kurnool district
In an incident, five students sustained injuries as the school bus in which they were traveling crashed near Nettekal village at Adoni mandal of Kurnool district.
Kurnool: In an incident, five students sustained injuries as the school bus in which they were traveling crashed near Nettekal village at Adoni mandal of Kurnool district. The bus no AP 21 TZ 0898 belongs to Sarada Nikethan school here in the town, has picked up nearly 60 students from D Kotakonda, Chinnapendekal, Sambagal, and Nettekal villages.
While on the way, the steering rob has broken near Nettekal. With this, the bus lost control, went a short distance and slid to one side. In the crash, five students suffered injuries, The injured were taken to a local hospital.
A major incident got averted as the vehicle stopped ten feet before the power pole. On receiving the information, the police, revenue, and transport department officials inspected the spot. Over the incident, the students union leaders hold a protest and demand action against the school management.
