Anantapur: To make fresh vegetables available at affordable prices, the wholesale vegetable market in old town has been shifted to Arts College exhibition grounds near Tower Clock.
As part of decentralising vegetable markets, Rythu Bazaars will be functioning in 6 places in the city, according to Joint Collector Nishanth Kumar.
The six places include Government Arts College grounds, Siddartha Park in Ramnagar, SSBN Degree College grounds, Opposite to Rajiv Children's Park in Housing Board, at the AP Dairy premises in Saradanagar and also in Railway Station parking site in Road number 1 behind Railway Station.
The district administration has also identified four shopping malls in the city to make all essential commodities available to people at their door steps.
The 4 malls include Pavitra Hyper Mart (cell 7893671111, 9959044414), Anantapur More (9100955878), Pick and Pack (9959222048, 903200048) and Jio Mart Super Market etc. The customers have to order online to these Malls
