Academic Expo-2019 off to grand start at Delhi Public School in Vijayawada
Academic Expo–2019 kicked off on the Delhi Public School premises on to a grand start.
Vijayawada: Academic Expo–2019 kicked off on the Delhi Public School premises on to a grand start. The Expo was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Dr B Nageswara Rao, Executive Director, Andhra Pradesh State Skills Development Corporation.
In his inaugural address, he said, Talent Development is the key to any development and education system. He added that Expos of this kind enhance the students' presentation skills apart from igniting their minds. He congratulated the management, staff and students on their continuous efforts to develop the overall personality of the students.
G Mala, Principal, said, the aim of the Annual Expo is to enhance the inherent talent of the students and giving them an opportunity to think out of the box.
Exhibits included skits, models, charts and creative art and craft. Skits, Test your talent, Shadow play were some of the highlights from the Department of English. The other noteworthy projects were pollution, 60 years circle, (Telugu), Skits & charts (Hindi), Application of Maths in CT scanning and photography, beauty of maths (Maths), Plastic Recycling, Magnetic Levitation (Science), Solar System, Plastic-killing the life (Social), Cloth Painting, Acrylic, bottle painting (Art), wooden dust art (Craft), Obstacle avoider and Guess It (Computer).
Pro-Vice-Chairman, P Narendra Babu, directors, K Praveen Kumar and P Pavan Chand, staff students and parents were present.
