Anantapur: District Collector Gandham Chandrudu stated that every step is being taken to make those residing in quarantine centres comfortable with quality food and medical help to those needed. The process of clinically testing everyone for Covid -19 is on covering the last person in quarantine centres and those in home isolation.

Blood samples of everyone is being collected and most of the quarantined are testing negative. If those in quarantine centre has tested negative, he or she is being retained in quarantine for another test for another 14 days and if they once again tested negative there are being sent to their home quarantine. In a statement, Collector Chandrudu said that real care is being given to everyone and the best is being offered to everyone in quarantine as per the instructions of chief minister Y.S.Jaganmohan Reddy.

The collector revealed that as many as 1,329 migrant workers are in the district from other states including Maharashtra, Mumbai, Osmanabad, Rajasthan-Ajmeer, UP Gorakpur and Gujarat states while 499 are from other districts, Nandyal, Kakinada and Prakasam districts in State.
