For the first time since the partition of the state, the state government will hold a grand ceremony of state formation day for three days.

For the first time since the partition of the state, the state government will hold a grand ceremony of state formation day for three days. The sector is set to officially host Andhra Pradesh's formation day at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan will be the chief guests.

The government has decided to hold a ceremony to uphold the culture and traditions of Andhra Pradesh. The first day of the festival will feature handicrafts, second day Kuchipudi dance performances, fine arts and folk art performances and Surabhi dramas. On the third day, a presentation of Telugu customs and food products will be held.

Earlier there was a slight difficulty in hold the formation day celebrations however, the centrel govt has said that the formation day remains same for the original state after bifurcation.
