The state government has extended half- day schools form June 17 to 22, due to high day temperature and heat wave in the state.

Guntur :The state government has extended half- day schools form June 17 to 22, due to high day temperature and heat wave in the state.

The school education commissioner K Sandhyarani issued orders to this effect. This orders will be applicable to all schools in various managements the state.

The government will take stern action,if any school violate the orders. She directed the regional joint directors of the school education department, district education officers, take steps to strictly implement the orders.

Meanwhile,Andhra Pradesh Weather Forecasting and Early Warning Research Warned that heat wave will continue another three- days in the state.

Due to high temperature and heavy wave, school children are facing lot of problems to go to schools.

Taking this into consideration the government extended half day schools till June 22.
