A housewife has lodged a complaint with the Guntur Nagarapalem Police Station alleging that her husband and his friends gang-raped her.
A housewife has lodged a complaint with the Guntur Nagarapalem Police Station alleging that her husband and his friends gang-raped her. According to police, women belonging to AT Agraharam was married to a man from Bangalore, seven years ago. The couple has been separated for years due to disputes. The woman's relatives, who came to know that he had come to Guntur a few days ago, went to talk to him.
Later, he complained to the police that he had been assaulted. On the 17th of this month, the woman went to her husband to ask him to take her to his house where she had been gang-raped by his drunken husband and his friends.
The police have registered a case and are investigating. She was sent to the hospital for medical examination.
The woman's relatives are incensed at the husband who has stepped aside for this atrocity and are demanding strict action against the perpetrators of the rape. Meanwhile, the Circle Inspector Mallikarjuna Rao said that a case has been registered and is being investigated on the complaint lodged by the victim.
