In a horrific incident, one person killed and three others were injured when a car collided with a parked vehicle at Nallapadam police station limits in Guntur. According to CI Premaiah, Nagraj (40), a resident of Vijayawada, Krishna district, along with his family members Aruna, Nagashree and Phanidashree went to Tirupati in a car two days ago. After the darshan, they left for Vijayawada again on Monday night.
The car collided head-on with an unknown vehicle near a grassy area while on their way. Against this backdrop, Nagraj died on the spot and three others were injured in the accident. Highway Patrol RS2 police, who responded immediately, rushed the injured to GGH for treatment at 108.
The police said the case is being registered and investigated as per the complaint of the victims who moved the body to mortuary for post-mortem.
