Rohit Sharma, chief operating officer of the company, said 70 per cent of the tickets were booked on Interstate Services after the amid Unlock 0.1. The study was carried out on road transport companies in various states. APSRTC provides travel to 137 cities and towns with 6090 buses. Another 1,445 private buses are also traveling from Andhra Pradesh to other states. There are 596 APSRTC use services from Vijayawada, 383 from Vizag and 226 interstate transport from Nellore. While Uttar Pradesh, the country's largest state, has 1218 buses that travel to only 45 cities. He said most of the services we're running between Delhi and Lucknow.

The Andhra Pradesh government has started APSRTC services from June 8 after the Central Government has exempted the restrictions over lockdown. The services are said to be running smoothly and the government is contemplating to start interstate services.
