He advised the public to show any of the 11 photo identity cards including passport, driving license, service identity cards with photograph issued to employees by central or state government or public sector undertakings or public limited companies, passbooks with photograph issued by the bank or post office, PAN card, smart card issued by the Registrar General of India under national population register, MNREGA job card, health insurance smart card issued under the scheme of ministry of labour, pension document with photograph, official identity cards issued to MPs or MLAs or MLCs, and Aadhaar card.

The district electoral officer also announced that the Election Commission appointed IAS officer Ajit Pawar-mobile number 6305624400 as the general observer for Markapur, Giddalur and Kanigiri assembly constituencies, DS Ramesh-mobile number 6305042047 as the general observer for Yerragondapalem, Darsi, Ongole and Kondapi assembly constituencies and Deepak Nalawada having mobile number 6305034672 as the general observer for Addanki, Chirala and Santhanuthalapadu and asked the public to call the toll-free number 1950 or landline numbers 08592281720 or 08592222100 for any information or complaints regarding the general elections 2019.
