In the ongoing Andhra Pradesh assembly winter sessions, same scene appeared again for the fourth day in a row where the TDP MLAs were suspended. Speaker Tammineni Sitaram announced the suspension of eight TDP MLAs for one day. MLAs Atchennaidu, Ramanaidu, Jogeshwara Rao, Ramakrishna Babu, Manthani Ramaraju, Anagani Satyaprasad, Balaviranjaneya Swamy and Ashok have been suspended from the house for entering into speaker podium.

The ruling YSR Congress Party and the opposition Telugu Desam Party MLAs clashed over the distribution of pensions in Andhra Pradesh. TDP alleged that YSRCP of failing to fulfil the promise of giving pensions to women who have crossed 45 years, but, when it came to power, they were accused of cheating. CM Jagan was incensed over this and made clear that the promise they made during the election was fulfilled. He asked the speaker not to give Ramanaidu a chance to speak as he was misleading the House.

TDP MLAs have been suspended for four consecutive days. On the first day, the TDP has raised the topic of farmers being affected by the floods and they were asked to provide insurance money and protested, which led to suspension. The government accused them of obstructing the house even though they said they were given while on the second day, there was a pandemonium in the house over the TIDCO houses where TDP alleged that Jagan was painting his name by changing the colours of the Tidco houses built during the TDP regime. TDP MLAs were suspended from the house over Polavaram issue and on the issue of pensions on the fourth day.
