Vijayawada (NTR District): Municipal Administration and Urban Development Special Principal Secretary Y Srilakshmi said that Amaravati villagers will be provided with best education and health facilities by the pilot project of the Amaravati Smart & Sustainable City Corporation Limited (ASSCCL).

Along with CRDA Commissioner Vivek Yadav, she visited the ongoing project works, which are being taken up by the ASSCCL at Rayapudi, Kuragallu and other villages.

Speaking on the occasion, the Principal Secretary stated that as per the directions of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, many development projects are being undertaken in the Amaravati Capital Region villages. She informed that the health centre construction works taken up at a cost of Rs 1.77 crore would be completed soon. Yoga, pranayama, nutri food preventive medicine services would also be available in health centres and both outdoor and indoor gym are also being facilitated to provide relief from muscle problems for the elderly, she added.

CRDA Commissioner Vivek Yadav informed that they were undertaking 64 education and health projects with modern technology in 25 villages to provide best services to the locals.

CRDA Additional Commissioner Katta Simhachalam, CE Pallam Raju and others accompanied the Special Principal Secretary.
