BSNL, SDV to launch triple-play service in Visakhapatnam
BSNL along with a private cable operator is all set to offer triple-play services to customers in Visakhapatnam.

With its formal launch scheduled on Wednesday at Gurajada Kalakshetram, the initiative aims at targeting 50,000 new connections in the first phase of its introduction partnering with SDV cable operator.
Director (CFA) BSNL, New Delhi, Vivek Banzal is expected to inaugurate the service in Visakhapatnam.Briefing the details to the media on Tuesday, BSNL Principal General Manager Paul Williams and DGM K Chandra Shekar said an integrated connection with internet, cable and telephone would be provided to the customers.
At present, SDV has customer-base of eight lakh spread over Visakhapatnam, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Guntur, among other districts. With better quality and speed, BSNL plans to provide last-mile connectivity in triple-play services in Visakhapatnam.
