Call to conserve water
The rally started at the IIIT College and proceeded till Gandhi statue centre. The NCC cadets displayed placards and raised slogans to save water which is very essential for survival.
Nuzvid: IIIT, Nuzvid director Prof M Suryachandra Rao said that water is the most essential thing for the survival of human being. The director participated as chief guest in World Water Day rally jointly organised by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge and Technology (RGUKT) and NCC cadets and flagged off the rally here on Friday.
The rally started at the IIIT College and proceeded till Gandhi statue centre. The NCC cadets displayed placards and raised slogans to save water which is very essential for survival.
Speaking on the occasion, Suryachandra Rao said that all living beings on the planet need water. All of us should strive to improve the ground water level and should stop wasting water, he said. NCC officer Dr Lf Ch SR Naveen Kumar explained how to conserve water on the occasion.
